Hi, I'm Jack

A Bit About Me
I’ve been working in home renovations for 24 years, alongside exceptional tradespeople, learning everything I can about excellence in their field. I’ve remodeled over 90 bathrooms and I even built my own house! Over the years, I’ve developed the knowledge and expertise to understand how a home should function and serve its owners. Now, as a certified home inspector, I am here to share that experience with my clients, helping them become better acquainted with the many components and systems that make up a home.
What to Expect from a
Yellow Duck
Inspection
A home inspection is a visual, non-invasive, evaluation of the readily accessible systems and components of the home, without tearing down the walls or digging huge holes in the yard. Think of it as getting an annual check-up at the doctor.

We pride ourselves on full transparency and we will never duck an issue! If you are able, we encourage you to accompany us during the inspection (we won’t ask you to go on the roof, we typically send a drone up for that!). Clients often find that this is a helpful way to educate themselves about the home. Together, we’ll make sure you have all your ducks in a row.
During Your Inspection we will Evaluate:
-
roof
-
exterior
-
structure
-
electrical
-
heating
-
cooling
-
insulation
-
plumbing
-
interior
Every home inspection requires a written report, but not all companies provide reports that are helpful or easy to understand. Reading a home inspection report should not be overwhelming or intimidating.

At Yellow Duck, we work hard to make sure our reports are concise and as easy to understand as possible. We’ll provide pictures and illustrations if they are helpful to understanding the findings of the inspection. At Yellow Duck, we don’t consider the inspection complete until you are sure you understand the findings in the report.

Under normal circumstances, we should be able to get your report to you within 24 hours. Once you have paid for the inspection, you will have access to the report for up to 7 years.
The 4 Components of a
Yellow Duck Report
1
A summary of potentially significant issues to take special note of. This is a quick reference to any areas of concern such as safety issues or more costly areas that require attention. While referring to the summary section is handy, please read the entire report.
3
A description of the systems and components that were inspected.
2
Overall observations and recommendations on all issues found during the inspection.
4
A summary of the inspection methods used and any limitations to the inspection.
